What is Heaxascension ?
Hexascension is a board game that combines the traditional elements of a deck-building game with the elements of a turn-based tabletop roleplaying game.
As with classic deck-building games, in Hexascension each player starts with exactly the same deck of cards, and over the course of the game, each player can expand and improve their deck by acquiring new cards or removing existing cards.
There are generally two types of cards, cards that allow the player to acquire new, better cards and cards that allow the player to move his character on the game board and carry out actions like fighting monsters or exploring cities.
Hexascension offers a multitude of possible game strategies, which means that no playthrough will go the same way. The game can be played with 2 to 6 players, and a round lasts between 60 and 150 minutes, depending on the number of players.
